Public Comment Period: The Neighborhood Improvement Services (formerly Community Engagement) has completed a draft of the Five-Year Consolidated Plan (FY 2019-2024), and the Annual Action Plan for (FY 2019-2020), as required by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This document will be available for public review and comment until April 15, 2019. You may view the draft at the Neighborhood Improvement Services, City Hall, 815 New Bridge Street during normal business hours. The plan is also available online.

The CAPER provides Citizens with a summary of activities and accomplishments achieved during the program year through the implementation of programs and activities under the Community Development Block Grant program (CDBG). The CAPER reports progress in meeting overall Consolidated Plan goals and priorities. Each year the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) assesses the performance of formula grantees that receive Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.
