Enrichment Programs

Our Enrichment Programs work towards empowering young men and women in the community. These programs will offer youth with the opportunity to meet others in their community, learn more about becoming a leader in the community and gain the self confidence they will need to excel as a member of the community.

Upcoming Programs

The Youth Night Out programs are designed to encourage and empower our youth, while providing them with an environment in which they can prosper and grow friendships.

Pin Pals: Special Needs Bowling Night Series

This bowling program aims to provide a fun and exciting place for youth/ adults with developmental and/or physical disabilities to participate in bowling. Ramps and bumpers will be available. Participants will be placed on lanes based on age, ability and style of bowling. Cost includes 2 games of bowling and shoe rental for the session. Individuals requiring additional assistance are welcome to bring a personal assistant.

Youth Night/Game Night

Youth Night is an opportunity to meet new friends, play games and have some fun.

AdoleSENSE: Let's Stress Less

Our second session of the series is focusing on stress and how to help manage it. Light refreshments will be served, parents are welcome to stay.  Pre-registration is required.

Super Friday

Give children and parents an opportunity to celebrate the upcoming holiday by participating in crafts and activities in a superhero themed event. Celebrate Halloween with your little one October 20th in our Super Friday event. This superhero themed event will include crafts, games, and a picture of you and your hero! Afterwards catch a movie in the park! This event is being rescheduled to a later date.

Cookies and Story Time With Mrs. Clause

Enjoy cookies and hot cocoa with our favorite featured guest, all the way form the North Pole, Mrs. Claus. Children can enjoy a Christmas story read by Mrs. Claus. Photos with Mrs. Clause can be taken with your own phone/camera.

Breakfast with Santa

Join us for a magical morning filled with joy and delights little ones will enjoy a scrumptious breakfast, holiday craft, and a chance to meet Santa. Photos with Santa can be taken with your own phone/camera.

Mother Son Ball (Registration opens November 20, 2023)

What a wonderful evening to spend with your special someone. A night of capturing moments and memories that will last a lifetime. Dinner and dancing until your heart's content in a winter wonderland. Registration is required.

To provide children who love to paint the opportunity to be creative on canvas. To be creative in a safe and relaxing environment with their peers.  Registration is required.

This Teen trip will be going to Dave and Busters. Price includes transportation, a meal and unlimited soft drinks from Dave and Busters as well as a Dave and busters Power Card for arcade games.

Dodgeball Tournament/Homeless Outreach

Put your teams together and come join us for a day of fun and Community. Registration open January 2, 2024

  • When: Saturday, March 16, 2024
  • Time: 9 AM – 6 PM
  • Where: Jack Amyette Recreation Center, 1825 South Drive
  • Cost: $50 per team, or $25 plus donation of non-perishable goods (socks, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, shampoo, etc). Any payments made the day of the tournament must be cash or check, no cards will be accepted. 
  • Team Categories: 13 - 17, 18+ Men, 18+ Women, 18+ COED
  • Teams consist of 6 -10 players.  Max of 8 teams per category.
  • To register your team, please call the Administration Office at 910 938-5312. For the 13-17 teams, an adult must register the team.

Teens Night Out: College Readiness (Registration opens March 1, 2024)

For this event we will be focusing on College Readiness for high school aged students. We intend to provide them with information on what to expect and how to prepared for the next step in their education. We will provide a guest speaker, food, activities and games!
