CALEA Accreditation
Jacksonville Police Services is an Accredited Law Enforcement Agency and is ranked 9th in North Carolina and 192nd nationally. Public Safety Director and Police Chief Michael Yaniero works with officers and staff to attain and sustain national accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA). Criteria to attain this accreditation can be found at the CALEA website.
Annual Reports
Jacksonville Police Services is a modern law enforcement agency committed to creative problem solving. Currently 150 strong, Police Services is composed of three major divisions of assignment: Investigative, Support Services and Patrol, Field Operations. The organizational structure provides a full range of law enforcement services and protection for Jacksonville residents and visitors.
