A timeline overview of the UDO for the City of Jacksonville

May 8, 2007 Growth Management Plan Adopted by City Council identifying the need to create a Unified Development Ordinance
Winter 2007 thru spring 2008 Clarion Associates Kickoff meeting with City Council, Planning Advisory Board, City Staff, and Stakeholders.
Spring 2008 Diagnosis Annotated Outline (DAO) - Clarion Associates Reviewed meeting notes, ordinances and other documents and prepared an outline for the project.
Summer / Fall 2008 The first third of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) was drafted, reviewed by City staff, revised, reviewed by the UDO Steering Committee and revised again.
Summer 2008 through Fall 2009 The second third of the UDO was drafted, reviewed by City staff, revised, reviewed by the UDO Steering Committee and revised again.
Summer 2009 to present The third and final module of the UDO was drafted, reviewed by City staff, revised, reviewed by the UDO Steering Committee and revised again.

February 11, 2013 Planning Advisory Board Recommended approval of the Draft UDO
February 12, 2013 Briefed the Home Builders Association
January 28, 2014 Town Hall Meeting from 4 pm - 7 pm in City Hall (Canceled due to Ice/Snow)
February 25, 2014 Town Hall Meeting from 4 pm - 7 pm in City Hall
March 11, 2014 Town Hall Meeting from 4 pm - 7 pm in City Hall
March 18, 2014 Public Hearing & City Council Consideration for Adoption
