Diversity Barriers Workforce Analysis

In January 2016, Jacksonville Council members approved a study to be conducted by UNC students in the School of Government on Barriers to Diversity within the City’s workforce. The study was to concentrate on Fire, Police and upper management with a report on the overall status of the City.

On May 3, 2016, the students presented their findings and recommendations to the Jacksonville City Council.
