Northeast Creek Park

Beautifully landscaped, Northeast Creek Park is located at 910 Corbin Road offering a large play area, beautifully maintained ball fields, a Disc (Frisbee) Golf Course and a boat launch that can serve two boats at a time. Park amenities include a Boat & kayak Launch, Fishing Area, Green Space, Bathroom Facility, Boat & Trailer Parking, Ball Fields, Disc Golf Course, Splash Pad, an inclusive playground and picnic shelters.

Disc Golf Course

The Disc Golf Course is regulation size and is the home of an annual fall tournament drawing professional and amateur players. The course according to the Professional disc golf association is a "well-groomed wooded course with good mix of open holes and tight wooded holes. White and Blue Tees. White layout (5200’ Par 57) for beginners and amateurs. Blue layout (6600’ Par 61) challenges advanced players and pros. 4th Redesign completed in 2012."

Splash Pad & Inclusive Playground

The Splash Pad at Northeast Creek Park is open to the public Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend each year. It is a water play area for the public with no standing water. Users activate the water by pressing a button at the center of the area and it continues for several minutes until it needs to be activated again.

Adjacent to the splash pad is an inclusive playground which opened in the Summer of 2019.  This playground provide play space for all abilities, at all ages.  With benches to sit down around the new playground equipment, it makes a great place to bring the family and friends for some outside playtime.

Boat Launch

Northeast Creek Park boat launch accesses Northeast Creek which flows to the New River south of Wilson Bay. This launch was rebuilt in 2013 providing two boat launches for public use. Ample area allows for vehicle and trailer parking.
