Public Input: Fair Housing and Community Development Block Grant Funds

Fair Housing

The City of Jacksonville, Community Engagement Department will hold a series of meetings to receive Citizen input on the City’s Fair Housing Plan and Five Year Consolidated Plan which specifies how federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds should be spent during the next 5 years. HUD provides CDBG funds to communities for a number of uses including affordable housing, community facilities and public services, slum and blight removal and economic opportunities, primarily to benefit low and moderate income persons and households.

Your opinion matters. You are invited to speak up and provide comments on how CDBG funds should be invested in the City of Jacksonville, and what steps the City can take to overcome barriers to fair housing.
