When does the city pick up tree limbs and other yard waste?
The city's weekly yard waste collection is Wednesday of each week except holiday weeks. Curbside yard waste is vegetation only; tree limbs, grass clippings, pine needles, brush, etc. Small, loose items need to be contained in paper compost bags, medium-size box, or a container that is no larger than a 32- gallon size. Yard waste cannot be collected in plastic lawn bags. Limb or brush piles larger than one cord (4 feet by 4 feet by 8 feet) will be inspected by sanitation personnel to determine if there may be a charge assessed for collection by the city.

The dial-a-truck may also be requested for disposing of excessive amounts of yard waste. Sod, dirt and rocks are not yard waste and cannot be collected by city crews. The sanitation holiday schedule is available online.
